We have exciting news coming from the Universal Orlando Resort this week! “Fast & Furious – Supercharged” is opening very soon! “Fast & Furious – Supercharged” will take you into the headquarters of the Fast & Furious Family. Here you will rely on Dom’s crew to get you to safety as you try to escape the criminal mastermind, Owen Shaw. Also during the experience, you will be able to see 15 supercharged Fast & Furious cars! Many of which have been driven by some of your favorite Fast & Furious family members!
In the meantime until the attraction’s official opening, you might have the chance to experience the attraction during its technical rehearsal at Universal Studios Florida.
You may be wondering what a technical rehearsal means and what it might include. Here are a few things to know about a Universal technical rehearsal and what you can expect if you are heading to the park in the coming days!
- A technical rehearsal is a time for the park to offer a limited number of guests the opportunity to preview their newest attraction as they put the finishing touches on it in preparation for its official opening.
- “Fast & Furious – Supercharged” will be opening on a limited, unscheduled basis, and some elements may not be operational as Universal continues to test and refine the ride.
- Operating hours will not be set in advance and will vary as the attraction opens on a limited, unscheduled basis. If you are in the park, keep an eye on The Official Universal Orlando Resort App. The app will be updated on technical rehearsal openings.
- Since the attraction is in technical rehearsal, Virtual Line and other attraction features may not be available. If Virtual Line is available, you’ll be able to access it through The Official Universal Orlando Resort Mobile App. All you need to do is select how many riders are in your group and the return time that works for you. While you wait for your ride time, you can enjoy other experiences and rides throughout the park!
- During the technical rehearsal, you may be able to experience the entire attraction or certain elements as Universal’s team works on putting the finishing touches on the ride. Keep in mind some elements of the attraction may not be operational as universal continues to test and refine everything.
- Universal Express Access is not valid during technical rehearsals for “Fast & Furious – Supercharged”
