If you’ve ever wanted to sail to Cuba, now you can with Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean Cruises! All three of Norwegian’s brands – Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruise, and Regents Seven Seas received approval from the government of Cuba to set sail in 2017.
Oceania Cruises will be the first to set sail, leaving from Miami on March 7 with an itinerary that stops in Havana. Regent’s Seven Seas Mariner will call on Havana with two sailings in April 2017. Norwegian will have its first ship, Sky, in Cuba a month later with a selection of four-day voyages that includes overnight calls in Havana.
As CEO of Royal Caribbean, Richard Fain, said, “Cuba is a destination that appeals to a new generation of travelers,” and I cannot agree more. Cuba is full of history and beautiful architecture that is just waiting to be explored — not to mention all the food!
