If you’re a fan of the amazing restaurants and celebrity chefs at Disney, than you’re going to be happy to hear another one is coming to Downtown Disney! Charles Arthur Smith apparently posted on his Facebook something indicated his arrival on July 2nd, but it was later removed Tuesday afternoon. Luckily a few people still saw.
“Very excited about the planning of Chef Arts Florida Fish Camp at the new Disney Springs opening next Spring at Walt Disney World. I’ve dreamed since I was a kid working there in 1980 that I return to the most Magical place on Earth. I am very excited to welcome you all. XOArt.”
A Disney spokeswoman had nothing to share on Tuesday. Smith, who participated in the College Program at Walt Disney World, currently has restaurants in Atlanta, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Palo Alto, California. The rumored area that he would open a restaurant at Disney is the new Disney Springs area, which is set to open in 2016.
