Your kids are only young for a few years and there is no better place to spend time as a family than at the original magical kingdom, Disneyland!
Here are some of the magical travel tips that can help you plan your next visit. It’s easy for the whole family to get involved thanks a free iPhone and iPad app that lets you explore exciting things to see and do at the resort.
Another great tool is m.disneyland.com — you can access it through your mobile device and bring it with you to the theme parks! It has attraction locations, park hours, show times and lots of helpful information.
Disneyland Resort has really grown in the past few years. Now there are even more unforgettable adventures and timeless favorites to enjoy from day to night.
For kids five to thirteen, there is Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree in Disney California Adventure Park. You’ll want to arrive early for this popular attraction in Cars Land.   There’s also Fantasy Faire, an enchanting storybook world in the Disneyland Park where little ones can meet Disney princesses. And, of course, there’s the classic must-do attraction Matterhorn Bobsleds.
After dark, the entire family can enjoy two nighttime spectaculars — Fantasmic! in Disneyland Park and World of Color in Disney California Adventure Park. World of Color is one of the experiences where you can use Disney FASTPASS Service on select attractions — it’s included with valid theme park admission and allows you to enjoy Disneyland Resort while your place in line is saved.
Another great service is Disney’s PhotoPass Service — imagine getting everyone into the photo at the same time!
It’s comforting to know that Disneland also has First Aid facilities in easy-to-find locations at both theme parks. And there’s also a place to retrieve Lost and Found items just outside the main entrance to Disneyland Park.
