Halloween time at the Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect balance of playful spooks and fun treats! This frightfully fun time of the year is just around the corner at Walt Disney World! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is an annual hard ticketed event that takes place after hours at the Magic Kingdom park on select nights throughout the fall. This year guests can look forward to brand new experiences coming to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
Taking place select nights August 17 through October 31, 2018, this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will roll out a few new tricks and treats! Let’s take a look at the new experiences that will be making their debut at this year’s event!
The Mad Tea Party
The Mad Tea Party attraction will take guests for a colorful ride with new lighting and effects that will literally give this Magic Kingdom classic a new spin! Depending on the color of your Halloween costume, you may also transform under the new lights! We can’t wait to see this new effect!
Pirates of the Caribbean
On one of my personal favorite attractions, Pirates of the Caribbean, a crew of new pirates will invade the experience. These pirates will interact with guests who will join the search for “Gunpowder Pete.”
Space Mountain
Over at Space Mountain, guests will set out on their trip through deep space. This favorite ride will receive a new soundtrack and be accompanied by special effects that will transform your flight!
Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam
Another new offering at this year’s event can be found over at Storybook Circus. Here guests will find the Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam! This new experience will be a dance party featuring popular Disney Junior Characters such as Doc McStuffins!
All of these fun and spooky overlays will only be available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Along with these fun new experiences guests can also look forward to many returning event favorites! One of these favorites being Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. This parade features tons of Disney characters all dressed up in their Halloween costumes! It is adorable! My favorite part of this parade though would have to be the Haunted Mansion sequence. The ballroom dancers from the attraction actually waltz down the parade route! If you’re a fan of this Disney classic attraction, you can’t miss this parade!
Come dusk the skies above Cinderella’s castle come to life with a spellbinding fireworks extravaganza, HalloWishes.
An addition in recent years to the Halloween party entertainment lineup is the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” This stage show on the castle stage became an instant hit with fans! The Sanderson Sisters will entertain everyone in the family with their mischievous and hilarious antics!
