Renovations and construction can be a bummer, but the enhancements you’ll enjoy on your favorite Disney attractions are always something to look forward to! Here’s a rundown on what’s going on under those “fairy dust” veils, and what you can expect from your favorite rides in the future!
Downtown Disney will be transforming to Disney Springs, and will be completed next year. At the Magic Kingdom, the Adventureland Veranda restaurant will be refurbished and reopened with a new name. At Epcot (brace yourselves) “Frozen Ever After” will replace Maelstrom in the Norway pavilion next spring, and an all new Frozen themed meet and greet building will be going next to the Norway and Mexico pavilions.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Midway Mania will be getting an additional track for next year, and also a new name. Star Wars fans will be excited to hear that the Magic of Disney Animation pavilion will be closing temporarily to clear space for Star Wars Land and a Pixar Place expansion.
