| For those who enjoy visiting
the great lodges of our National Parks the Wilderness Lodge
will remind you of these wonderful lodges with their soaring
ceilings and log construction. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
resembles the famous Yellowstone Lodge located in our first
National Park. The lobby ceilings soar toward the sky giving
the allusion of even greater height. The stone fireplace is
built of multi colored rock that looks like the layers found
in the Grand Canyon. With comfortable furniture and a warm
fire this is a fine place to relax and enjoy all of the
wonderful touches that the Disney designers built into this
magnificent building such as the hand made rugs in the lobby
that are made exclusively for Disney by a Native American
tribe. |

| The Wilderness
Lodge has all of the amenities found in any world class
resort, no roughing it here, great pool area with lots of
lounge chairs for relaxing and people watching after a day
enjoying some of the attractions of Disney World. |

| The lodge is set on
beautiful Bay Lake where you can soak up the warm sunshine
on the beach, feed the fish from the dock or perhaps you
would like to schedule a fishing trip with one of the
professional guides to catch one of those trophy Bass that
Florida is famous for. If you and your family would rather
take a boat ride on the lake there are different sizes of
boats available for your pleasure cruise. |

For those who
want to stay fit while at the Wilderness Lodge there is a
fully equipped fitness center for your workout along with
personal trainers for those that need the motivation
provided by a trainer.
For a relaxing time rent a bicycle and ride through the
grounds of the resort where you will see an assortment of
wildlife such as deer browsing in the woods. It is amazing
that there is an abundance of wildlife here in the midst of
Disney World.
For those who want to skip visiting the different parks
there is a wide assortment of activities such as golf on one
of the five championship courses located in Disney World.
For the more adventurous there is the Richard Petty
experience where you can either ride around Disney’s race
track as a passenger or sign up for the opportunity to drive
yourself. For all of you aspiring race car drivers this is
the ultimate experience.

small patios that overlook woods where if you are lucky
maybe a cottontail rabbit will visit while you are here. |
