guests will find a more relaxed atmosphere than that of its sister
park Blizzard Beach. Along with the required white-knuckle slides
guests will find that they can float blissfully down a creek,
bodysurf in one of the world’s largest wave pools or snorkel through
a living reef with real sharks.
This water park is themed around the once prosperous Placid Palms
Resort that was struck by a typhoon. Throughout this very family
friendly water park guests will find winding paths with lots of
shade, where guests will find plenty of areas were they set up home
bases that are comfortable, relaxing and largely protect from the
bright Florida sunshine.
Things to Know Before You Go
Swimwear with exposed metal (i.e. rivets or buckles) will not be
permitted on slides
Children under the age of 10 will need to be accompanied by an adult
Park will close during rainstorms and there are no refunds extended
due to weather related closings
There is no “water park” hopping, that is you cannot visit Disney’s
other water park Typhoon Lagoon with your Blizzard Beach admission
Locker rental is $5.00 for small and $7.00 for a larger one. A
refundable fee of $2.00 is included in the price of the locker and
will be returned when you turn in the key
Towel rental is $1.00 per towel
Life Vests are provided free of charge with a small refundable
deposit Guests are not permitted to bring in their own flotation
devices
Shade is limited so stock up on sun screen

Located at the base of Mt. Mayday this purported to be the
largest inland wave pool in the world. Guests will find an
alternating selection of waves ranging from small waves to the
six-foot bodying surfing variety

Castaway Creek
This inner tube journey takes guest on a relaxing journey that
lasts about 20 minutes.
Guests can enter or exit at five separate areas by either catching
an empty tube or abandoning the one they were riding in.
