Tony's Town Square Restaurant
Located at Magic Kingdom
®  Park
Dinner

I could have easily overlooked this restaurant both figuratively and literally seeing how it is tucked away to one side of Town Square, which is just inside the entrance to the Magic Kingdom
®  Park. This is certainly understandable considering the fact that it is housed in a rather nondescript building and most guests are mesmerized with Cinderella Castle off in the distance and a park that is chalk full of other things to do.

It had been years since I had eaten here and I was determined not to be distracted, so like a man with a mission, if not an appetite, I headed straight to this restaurant with it’s “Lady and the Tramp” inspired décor.

So would my determination pay off? For the answer to that and a peek at the menu

Welcome to our new Disney Knowledge Contest...

Our readers are given four clues that describe a particular location within the Walt Disney World Resort. You then can then choose the answer that you believe best fits that description.

Below is a list of clues to this issue's challenge:
  • Originally planned to be called Space Port, this attraction was originally designed for Disneyland but was built at Walt Disney World first.
  • A height restriction of 44" is in effect, so if you don’t measure up you will have to come back
  • Originally this attraction was sponsored by RCA and their post attraction show was called the Home of Future Living.
  • This attraction premiered at the Magic Kingdom®  Park, Florida in 1975 and was replicated in other Disney Theme Parks, including Disneyland in 1977, Tokyo Disneyland in 1983, and Disneyland Paris in 1995 and when Hong Kong Disneyland opens in September 2005

Where are you?

The clues to our last Disney Knowledge Challenge were:

  • On January 15, 1975, this attraction opened in Tomorrowland in Walt Disney World
  • So which is it, Rover, Sport, or Queenie
  • Do you know the original theme song for this attraction?
Was it “There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow,” or was it “The Best Time of Your Life"?
  • If you still are not sure which Tomorrowland attraction we are talking about. You could ask John, he is the narrator for this attraction.

The correct answer was:

Carousel of Progress at the Magic Kingdom Park

Disney's
Caribbean Beach
Resort

Disney's
Polynesian
Resort
