Beyond The Parks Walt Disney World®
Resort Recreation
The Walt Disney World®
Resort is a world-class vacation destination
that has much to offer guests of all ages and with varying interests.
Within its 47 square miles visitors will find a wide range of recreational
and entertainment choices, which extend beyond the four major theme parks.
Enjoy the relaxation of horseback riding at Disney's Fort Wilderness
Resort & Campground or the thrill of driving a 600 horsepower
358-cubic-inch V-8 NASCAR Winston Cup stock car at Richard Petty
Driving Experience, these are only two of the special Beyond the Park
surprises that await you.
Some guests may enjoy a guided fishing excursion, while others may want to
go scuba diving with over 4000 creatures native to the Caribbean,
including tropical fish, sharks, stingrays and giant sea turtles.
At DisneyQuest®
the kids can test their skills on 21st century computer technology, while
dad finds his own challenge at one of Disney's six golf courses, all of
which are professionally designed and beautifully maintained.

Sci-Fi Dine In Theater
Lunch
Located at Disney-Hollywood Studios
I
was wondering why our 8 year old and 9 year olds seemed more than
just a little excited about having lunch at this restaurant. Between
my telling them that they would eating in 1950’s automobiles in a
restaurant where it was nighttime all the time and pictures that
they had seen in one of the Disney brochures their excitement had
reached a near fever pitch. Munching on hamburgers and sipping on
milkshakes while we watch clips from vintage B Movies from the
1950’s in a Drive In Theater did sound like fun, but I was starting
to wonder if maybe I had sold the whole thing just a little too
hard. And besides would the kids get who have never even seen a
Drive In Theater even get it.
So did we end up with a vacation memory or disappointment? For the
answer to that question and a peek at the menu

Walt Disney World’s Magic Your
Way Vacation
The Walt Disney World Travel Company is currently offering
their new vacation package, which allows travelers to do Disney
their way.
Guests to Walt Disney World Resort have found that the
Magic Your Way vacation package offers them a more flexible
vacation. The reason being is that you can choose how many days you
want to be in the major theme parks, as well as, whether you will
want to go to the water parks or Disney Quest®
and Disney's Wide World of Sports®
Complex.
Here are some features and their descriptions that you should be
familiar with as you begin to design your own “Most Magical
Vacation”.
Magic Your Way Base Ticket
This ticket provides admission to one of the four Walt Disney
World®
Theme Parks for each day of your client’s ticket. Your clients can
choose how they want to visit. For example, on a 5-Day Magic Your
Way Base Ticket:
Park Hopper Option
With added feature you can come and go as they please through all
four Walt Disney World®
Theme Parks on the same day for each day of their ticket. This
option is the best way for you to enjoy the Extra Magic Hours
Benefit. For example, you may want to visit Epcot®
for the day but then experience the Extra Magic Hours Benefit at the
Magic Kingdom®
Park that same evening.
Magic Plus Pack Option
This option provides a certain number of Plus visits (admissions) to
the minor theme parks.
Based on the length of the ticket purchased for each Plus visit, you
can choose to visit one of the following: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon
Water Park, Disney’s Blizzard Beach
Water Park, Downtown Disney®
Pleasure Island, DisneyQuest®
Indoor Interactive Theme Park, or Disney’s Wide World of Sports®
Complex.
No expiration feature
Add this to your Magic Your Way Ticket and the unused days never
expire.

In this issue we are slightly changing our question format. Our
readers will be given four clues that will describe a particular
location within the Walt Disney World Resort. You then can then
choose the answer that you believe best fits that description.
Welcome to our new Disney Knowledge Contest...
Below you will find a combination of
clues to this issue's challenge
If you are not at least 40 inches tall you
have to wait
Guests enjoyed their first wild ride on
this attraction at Walt Disney World on September 23, 1980
Lots of jarring twists and turns but unlike
that other attraction this time you can see them coming
In case you were wondering you just passed
through “The tiny town of Tumbleweed”
Where are you?
