The Behind the Scenes Tours at the Walt Disney World® Resort
A Sneak Peek Behind the Scenes
For a separate cost guests
at the Walt
Disney World® Resort are offered a
variety of Behind the Scenes tours that feature a look at some of the
architecture and operational logistics that make up the magic. Some tours
focus on the major theme parks, while others focus on a particular or
individual operation at either a theme park or at one of the Walt
Disney World®
Resort Hotels.
During these guided tours guests are treated to some of the backstage
areas not seen by the general public and are offered interesting facts and
given a historical prospective on this most magical vacation destination.
Some tours such as Disney’s Yuletide Fantasy are seasonal while others,
such as the Keys to The Kingdom which takes guests behind the scenes of
the Magic Kingdom®
park, are offered year round.

Grand Floridian Café
Located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Dinner
It was a late check in for us at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort &
Spa and it was nearly 9:00pm by the time we actually received our
room assignment from the cast member working at the front desk. Our
hunger was encouraging us to temporarily defer the challenge of
finding our room to the more pressing need of finding somewhere to
have a late night dinner.
Having stayed at this Disney resort on several previous occasions I
knew our choices for a quick bite boiled down to really just two
options. We could order something from the room service menu or we
could make our way across the hotel lobby to the Grand Floridian
Café, with the hope that we would be in time to get a table for two
at this convenient and relaxing restaurant.
So did we end up eating off trays in or hotel room or did we slide
into a booth at this one of our favorite Disney dining locations?
