Tony’s Town Square
Located in the Magic Kingdom
LunchAs you enter Tony’s
Town Square Restaurant you are transported back to the theme of
Disney’s Lady and the Tramp. It has a traditional theme of open
space and iron of the ages. The dining area has a whole wall of
windows that allow you the pleasure of peering at the front of Main
Street, U.S.A. This allows for some entertainment as well as
relaxation from the crowds of the park.
Scanning our menus we found some
great Italian favorites along with some traditional foods. The
Grilled Chicken Panini caught my eye and I decided on it. As I
waited for my food I noticed that some Pinocchio Disney Characters
had gathered just outside of the restaurant window. It was a delight
to see as they signed autographs and posed for photos with the
guests.
When my food arrived I was pleasantly
surprised. The hot sandwich I had ordered came topped with asiago
cheese, bacon and caramelized onions all on tasty multigrain bread
slices. It satisfied my hunger completely. Tony’s also has a fine
arrangement of after dinner sweets. Although we did not indulge
ourselves in any of the deserts, we did find them quite tempting.
Tony’s is a great place to get away
from the crowds and have a great meal. This is a great family
friendly restaurant that everyone will love. To get a taste of what
