Rosie's All American Café
Located in the Disney-Hollywood Studios
Lunch
Now with Rock N
Roller Coaster and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror behind me a
little something to eat sounded like a pretty good idea. I did not
have a priority seating for one of the full service restaurants, so
I was thinking of maybe either Studio Catering Company or maybe the
Back Lot Express.
The noon-time crowd at both of these fast food bulk loaders promised
to be both a life lesson in patience building and a real time
waster. Out of the corner of my eye I happened to catch a glimpse of
people with both smiles and mustard on their faces. This caused me
to pause long enough to notice that Rosie’s All American Café had
both short lines and plenty of outdoor tables available.
Suddenly the idea of a simple and satisfying All American hamburger
sounded just right to me. As I stepped up to the open air counter
area I new that I had struck gold. Nothing complicated. No big
decision making would be required here. With only a couple of menu
items being offered and three out of four of those coming on a bun I
knew this is just what both my stomach and mind had agreed upon.
When it came my turn to order I without hesitation boldly declared
that I wanted a Cheeseburger and fries. No substitutions allowed and
none requested.
With almost the same speed with which I had been able to decide
between the Cheeseburger and the Chicken Strips my order was ready.
After securing a few simple condiments and finding a seat on a
picnic table in the open air dining area I found myself both
relaxing and eating while others I am sure had not even been seated
or presented a menu.
