Work is currently underway at Walt Disney World Resort as Downtown Disney undergoes a multi-year transformation into Disney Springs – a destination that will treat you to more than 150 shopping, dining and entertainment options amid beautiful open-air promenades, meandering springs and waterfront charm.

Guests are already enjoying some of the new offerings available at Downtown Disney, including the one-of-a-kind merchandise at Marketplace Co-Op and two unique Starbucks locations.

Plus, a newly-opened bridge now offers a pedestrian-friendly connection between Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Downtown Disney. In addition, the Marketplace Boat Dock, now conveniently located near the Marketplace Bus Loop, provides easy access to the West Side and Pleasure Island.

With this exciting transformation in full swing, here are a few navigation tips for you to keep in mind as you visit Downtown Disney:

Use Complimentary Resort Transportation – Disney Resort hotels offer complimentary bus transportation to Downtown Disney. Plus, complimentary watercraft transportation is available from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside and French Quarter, Disney’s Old Key West Resort and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Once at Downtown Disney, you can use boat transportation to travel between Downtown Disney Marketplace, West Side and Pleasure Island areas.

Guests staying at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa can now use the pedestrian walkway linking the hotel to Downtown Disney

Allow Plenty of Travel and Parking Time – You should plan to arrive at least an hour before scheduled dining or entertainment.

Follow Parking Signs – If you are driving to Downtown Disney, parking signs will help direct you to available parking lots.

Take Exit 67 on I-4 – Use exit 67 to approach Downtown Disney from another direction and continue to follow signs for parking

Use Valet Parking – Valet parking is now available from 10 a.m.-1 a.m. at Downtown Disney Marketplace and from 2:30 p.m.-2 a.m. at Downtown Disney West Side. The cost is $20 per vehicle.
