Here is a video we took on one of the wettest rides I can remember on Splash Mountain!
In all the years of riding this great attraction, I cannot remember ever getting this wet. And most of it came from the water canons at the very beginning of our ride!
Splash Mountain is still one of my favorites at the Magic Kingdom. It is a Disney classic, it entertains by telling a story, and it has a thrilling drop at the end!
Come along and enjoy, and don’t forget to throw us a towel!

We went on this ride many times before and like you, never got that wet. Well, on our trip last Dec., the kids and I all went on it. We rounded that bend, watched in delight as the water cannons shot gallons of water up in the air. We quickly understood the laws of gravity…what goes up must come down! We knew EXACTLY where all the water was going to wind up….and there was no way to avoid it!
As we exited the ride, each of all dripping wet, the cast member laughed and said, “So what do you think of the new features?” Do you think she wanted my honest answer!?!
